There’s No I in Team

In the house on a Tuesday night? Finished studying a little early? Check out the intramural sports league on your campus. Intramural sports are offered at most university campuses. For those who don’t know what intramural sports are, they include: basketball, flag football, softball, even frisbee, and a few other team sports.

This team activity is a great way to get your work out on without the pressures of a recreational or organized team. Fraternities and sororities compete in various intramural tournaments, and these same tournaments are also available for the remaining members of your university student body through a separate, yet mutually similar league.

In addition to getting a nice work out, involvement in intramural sports is also a great way to meet new people around your campus. If interested in participating on your campus, get in contact with your university’s student union.

Fresh Kickoff

With football season digging deep into the calender, much attention tends to get focused on collegiate and professional teams. Despite all the hype around college and pro football, high school football has managed to penetrate many followers.

Here you see a freshman football game out of Quartz Hill, California. And they are not to be overlooked with two interceptions for Quartz Hill, a kick off return, and a fumble from each team. Characteristics you’ll find in any varsity, collegate, or professional football game.

Cali Bred will be looking to give high school players much more exposure, similar to that of Max Preps. More of an awareness and entertainment as opposed to the statistical analysis. Please e-mail us pictures of your own games or even events you would like to see us covering. Thanks for the support as always.
